We are a Greek family company located in the city of Eginio, Pierias - northern Greece. Our main activity is to produce high quality deshydratated wild, or organic-bio food. Using innovative food processing methods, we maintain to a great extent all the features and beauties of our natural products, offering you the best possible experience.

Liba Nova company was established in 2001 in Northern Greece, in a rural small city Eginio near Thessaloniki. It is a family company and nowadays it is run by the young sons of the family. It trades a large range of wild mushrooms and agricultural products. In addition, there is a wide selection of greek herbs as well as the finest harvest of famous greek Saffron and Olympus green tea. Liba Nova combines tradition and high techniques in order to provide you with the highest quality and taste of the wild treasure of the greek nature. To dry the finest items, it uses freeze drier in vacuum and packs in modified atmosphere to prevent oxidization and the finest flavors . Mushrooms and herbs are carefully selected by experts respecting the plants to assure the sustainability.

Our products are dried by the mildest method used for food and their sensitive ingredients. Lyophilization or as it is commonly known, Freeze dry. By this method the sensitive products are dehydrated under cooling and vacuum in the absence of oxygen. By this deshydratation procedure the food do not heat up and it is not exposed to oxygen at all. No enzyme degradation takes place neighte oxidation of the sensitive substances. Consequently they retain their natural color, their shape, their aroma and above all, their nutrients are not “burned” or oxidized at all. Vitamins, unsaturated fatty acids and proteins are protected from oxidation and generally their quality remains the same as the fresh products.
